It's been a while since we've talked about something funny, for example....about Superchain games!
Let's remember about **Ancient8 **- the first game ecosystem on Superchain.
Mainnet live since 2 months already and the chain is already having some amazing statistics:

What is Ancient8 Chain?
Ancient8 Chain is a gaming, community-focused Ethereum Layer 2 platform powered by the OP Stack and powered by Celestia, built to solve the scalability and adoption challenges faced by web3 games and consumer DApps. Taking advantage of Optimism and Celestia, Ancient8 Chain focuses on speed, savings and providing developers with cutting-edge technology, especially for blockchain game development.
Ancient8 Chain is a blockchain built on the latest version of the OP Stack toolkit, which provides the basic module layers that make up the blockchain such as:
Data Availability,
Sequencing,
Derivation,
Execution,
Governance Layer.
Additionally, Ancient8 integrates with Celestia to improve the data availability (DA) layer. This modular mechanism allows Ancient8 to easily make updates and changes as needed.
The central idea of Ancient8 Chain is to empower the next 100 million citizens of the Metaverse.

Ancient8 - is not just a few games or platforms, it's an entire ecosystem, which we'll talk about in more detail now.
There are 3 main group of projects in ecosystem:

The main members of the first group (Growth Layer):
Dojo Marketplace — decentralized platform for exchanging gaming assets.
Space3 — tools for creating virtual spaces that empower developers.
Ancient8 Gaming — support for developers in creating and promoting games on the blockchain, including financing and technical support.
ReneVerse — NFT gaming platform emphasizing asset ownership and portability.
A8ID — identity system for managing digital identity and assets across games (coming soon).
Developers use A8 Chain infrastructure to:
build games,
then promote/open for sale NFT sets on Dojo,
publish games through Space3,
enhance user identity with A8ID,
build game community connections players through A8 Gaming,
generate more revenue with in-game advertising from ReneVerse.
This is how the sequence of application of all the projects listed above from the first group may look like.
Gaming
Ancient8 is supporting the development of many types of games, notably the group of fully on-chain games, some projects include:
Onchain Clash: Similar pixel graphics game inspired by Pixel War, Go Game and Paperie. Players participating in the game will try to expand and protect their territory from other players;
Omnizone: Battle royale-style role-playing game;
WeePePe: Users play the role of Pepe the frog, building a city on the moon;
MasterDuel: An online gaming platform that aims to create a gaming environment where players can connect, duel and earn real rewards while playing;
Pirate Clash: A captivating resource-building and conquest game. Build your pirate haven, attack & steal yer friends on X.
Zone Nine: The 1st-Zombie survival onchain game
Bene Cat wiches: Finally, we have also been informed to follow this project closely. This is the first NFT collection on Ancient 8, and may unlock future perks. Give this project a follow!
Of course, the list of games and projects will be replenished, because the guys have set themselves the goal of becoming the largest game chain.

In addition to the gaming group, which is the main development direction, Ancient8 also has other satellite projects that help develop utilities such as:

As a reminder, Cyber is a brand new L2 built on the OP Stack. Its goal is to become the leader in the onchain social sector. Check our introduction article of the chain in our previous newsletter.

Restaking program
Although Cyber is built on the same technical foundation as its counterparts in the Superchain, the network utilizes a new component based on the EigenLayer ecosystem.
Indeed, Cyber is the first L2 to use AVS (Automated Verification System) to develop its infrastructure, such as the sequencer, verifier, and CyberDb.
To achieve this, the team has implemented a double staking program: stakers can deposit both their $CYBER tokens and LRT tokens to secure the network.
Why is the restaking program interesting? Because in addition to securing the network, LRT depositors receive :
EigenLayer yield (which includes AVS rewards)
EigenLayer points
LRT points
Cyber restaking points
These Cyber restaking points can be converted into $CYBER tokens. If you are optimistic about the project's evolution, depositing LRT here is a good way to earn them.
Cyber's restaking program includes 3 LRT: $pufEH, $weETH, and $ezETH. To participate, simply stake one of these 3 LRT from this page.
Note: Cyber applies a points multiplier starting from a certain deposited amount.
