Superchain is rapidly developing, the number of projects that are being built on OP Stack is growing almost every month. And some days ago, on June 18th, 2024, Camp Network announced that it will join the Superchain!
Let's take a closer look at this project.
What is Camp Network?
Camp is the world’s first identity layer, aggregating Web2 social data onchain. With this modular identity layer, users can own and monetize their data, and dapps can build UXs that truly resonate with their target demographic.
Let's try to explain it in simple words. I think it's clear to everyone that data is the key to everything.
Why have many projects failed to come out successfully? Because they don't know what audience they are targeting, they don't work with their audience. Many projects attract users only with the opportunity to get an airdrop, and immediately after it, all project metrics tend to zero. Camp is here to fix this situation.
I have an example of such a project for you. Look at the Layer Zero.
Immediately after the snapshot was announced (May, 1), the number of transactions on the network decreased significantly. And it came to life a little later only on the day of the claim.
This is because teams lack an understanding of users' personalities: their interests, preferences, and behavior. Without knowing who their users are, teams cannot offer meaningful, personalized experiences.
The solution is data. When protocols contain information about their users, they can create personalized and immersive experiences. They can create algorithms that take into account the interests of their users and create adaptation processes that are easy for Web2 media to understand. Through these tools, protocols can find an organic match for a product to the market and create self-sustaining ecosystems.
Look at the Farcaster (Warpcast) or Notcoin - these projects have studied their audience perfectly and have been able to attract hundreds of thousands, millions of users from Web2.
For example, $DEGEN (one of Warpcast’s memecoin) ranks second in several intra-chain metrics for memecoins. Both in terms of the number of traders and the number of transactions, $DEGEN is immediately behind $DOGE. This achievement is surprising considering that the market value of $DEGEN is only 0.79% of the value of Dogecoin.
So the popularity of this memecoin does not make us doubt that the project is successful.
Camp Network aggregates online user data, allowing users to own and monetize their identities that have been created over time in the Web2 world. Camp is the only team in Web3 with access to verified Web2 data, which not only helps teams create better experiences, but ultimately benefits users who can own them.
Using Camp's data, any project can integrate social media logins, allowing users to create accounts using their Spotify credentials or Instagram or Facebook etc. Camp provides easy integration with Instagram, which allows users to connect their accounts and receive rewards for posting about their favorite things — and this data stays with them online. The integration of Camp data allows teams to master the "data algorithm", which confirms that the better a company understands its users, the more successful they will be in attracting and retaining users. This alone will make it possible to connect the next 100 million people to the blockchain.
Why is it safe for users?
Camp Network uses technology zk-SNARKs and account abstraction ensure data portability, privacy and sovereignty across the ecosystem.

Projects can take advantage of an extensive user database and choose exactly their target audience.

After presenting LP strategies for farming the Superchain airdrop passively, we now arrive at the second part of this series of articles.
Discover now how to make your mark on the Superchain through active farming.
Explore the new chains
If you followed the first farming strategy, you now have a sufficient footprint on OP Mainnet, Base, Mode, and Fraxtal.
But what about the other chains? That’s what we’re going to look at now.
As a reminder, the Superchain is growing day by day. Here is a summary of its current landscape.
Several new chains have been integrated recently: welcome to Kroma Network, Victory, Camp, Polynomial, Gameswift, XTerio, Metal & Allo!
That's a lot of networks, I agree!
That's why, to farm effectively, you need to set up an optimized route. Before moving on to the strategy, we consider that to have a sufficient footprint on a blockchain, it is necessary to:
Bridge a minimum amount (at least $50)
Make a few swaps
Interact with some additional contracts if you can
Presentation of the Strategy
Let's now get into the heart of the matter.
The farming routine we are going to present to you is divided into 3 steps:
#1: Bridging assets to the Superchain's chains
This will allow you to have available capital for swaps and other activities.
To access the Superchain's chains, we recommend using the Superbridge app. It allows you to access most OP chains from a single and simple interface.
Start by filling your wallet with ETH (on the mainnet), then bridge your funds to the following chains:

#2: Make regular swaps on DEXs
Now that you have funds on almost all OP chains, regularly swap a small amount of assets on the main DEXs.
We recommend swapping at least $50 on the following chains approximately every week (vary your route).
(The chains not included in the diagram do not yet have DEXes)

#3 Bonus activities
Some networks do not operate like DeFi chains, so you cannot swap assets in the usual manner.
Therefore, here is the final part of the strategy, which involves performing specific activities based on the networks.

Note: If you prefer not to be exposed to market fluctuations when trading on Lyra/LogX, you can go long on one platform and short on another simultaneously.
This allows you to have a market-neutral exposure.
This series of strategies is now complete! By implementing both strategies, you get the best of both worlds:
LP positions on the main blockchains of the Superchain
Swap volume across the entire Optimism ecosystem
Additional activities such as trading and NFT minting
By implementing these strategies, you drastically increase your chances of being eligible for the next OP airdrop.
Just be mindful to vary your activities to avoid being considered a Sybil (pay close attention to this).
